God's Purpose In Me

I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans of hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

This scripture has come to me over and over again this past year. First, on the cover of a journal I received as a Christmas gift from my then girlfriend's parents. Through out the year it appeared in other ways to me, through a friend who I worked with, through a prayer team during a visit to King's Touch Healing room. (To pray for others and to have other pray for you is a wonderful gift God has given to us through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit) Most recently the verse had come as a reminder few weeks ago in the Sunday message by Pastor David Koop at Coastal Church.

I have learned that when something comes to you over and over again, God is speaking to you. It's up to me to listen.

So today I sit here, in a new year and a new day. My yesterday was left behind as was the past year. What a journey it has been. A roller coaster ride of ups and downs, with times filled of highs and lows. There were moments where I wondered how I was going to make it out and through to the other side and even though the struggles continues in the natural, my faith drives me to lean into God even more. I rely more on Him every day and less on what is around me.

Yes it is true, constantly I am encouraged by the Holy Spirit to lean in to God even more. To trust in Him even more. To believe in what I hear Him say to me even more. It is difficult because there is a whole world out there and many voices with opinions to contend with, but the truth will always lie in the word of God. In the living word of God, which is in the teaching and ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord. In the life he had lived here on earth.

So in this, I hold steadfast on the promise He gave to me a few years back at the beginning of 2017, I will restore to you everything you have given up in your life to follow me. To trust in me.

I can't deny this nor will I allow anyone to interfere with the work that our Lord is doing in me. I will continue trust and must hold onto what He shares with me. To where he is directing me. If I don't then what good is my life, a life which he gave me.

I too urge you to seek our Father, simply because He desires you to trust in Him and His plan for you. Each one of us have a unique life. Each one of us have the ability to take the struggles we have, the worries we have and the concerns we have and give them over to God. To see Him take the bad and make good of it.

Trust that we have the ability to receive the Holy Spirit and in this we will be able to do the things that others think are unimaginable and we will surpass the boundaries that such thinking places in front of us.

Christ overcame the world by his work on the cross. He defeated the death as we know it and has given to us everlasting life. All we have to do is believe, follow and be that who He asks us to be. His children. We can walk in victory every day, just keep your eyes set upon the Lord, our heavenly Father and his promises to us.

If ye the, being evil, know how much to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13 KJV)

Thank you for reading.

with great blessing unto you,

God’s Promise

Why don’t you trust me? This is what He said to me. I wrestled with an answer. All I could say to Him was, ”I don’t know how. Lord Jesus, show me how.” It was a great challenge for me, as on one hand

Standing with God; beside Him.

Will you stand with me? Will you stand beside me and be patient? If God invited you to do this, would you? What would it mean to you? By standing with God and beside Him, it seems like an opportunity
